I just heard someone say that we can take in 300-400 words a minute, but we can only speak about 120-160, so there’s a huge spot where our minds are active and engaged otherwise while we’re listening to someone else. And I really felt it with this book: The whole time Sims was speaking, my mind was stimulated beyond belief in thinking of what I could do, what I wanted to do, what I dreamed of doing and becoming. I was so excited and enthusiastic.
And since you’re not signing away more than four hours, you can pretty much finish the book and jump right into active engagement. You’ll be that inspired.
